The problem with paper
For decades, guard reporting meant a logbook at the desk and a stack of daily activity reports that arrived days later, if they arrived at all.
Checkpoints were “scanned” by memory. Incidents were written up at the end of the shift, from recollection, in handwriting.
When a board asked “was the guard patrolling the parking garage at 2 a.m. on the night the cars were broken into?”, nobody could answer with certainty.
KingsGuard runs every guard shift through TrackTik, a security operations platform built by Trackforce and used by security companies in more than 50 countries, according to the manufacturer. We chose it because it turns “trust us” into a timestamped record you can check yourself.

Your site instructions, contact lists, and procedures are in the app, so a new guard on your site follows the same orders as the regular one.
Shift coverage you can see
Guards clock in from the site itself, and our office sees in real time if a post is unfilled or a guard is late, so we fix it before you notice. According to Trackforce, the platform flags no-shows and can auto-fill open shifts.

We map your property.
Checkpoint tags are placed at the points that matter: stairwells, garage levels, mechanical rooms, loading docks, fence lines. Post orders and emergency contacts are loaded into the app.

Guards clock in on site.
Their arrival is timestamped and location-verified from the mobile app.

Patrols are verified as they happen.
Each checkpoint is scanned in sequence. Our supervisors see the tour live and are alerted if one is missed.

Incidents are filed on the spot.
Photos, descriptions, actions taken, and who was notified, all captured at the moment rather than at the end of the shift.

Reports are sent to the contacts you choose and stored in your account for as long as you're a client. Records are kept indefinitely.

The guard app
Built for the guard as much as the manager
A reporting system only works if guards actually use it, so the app matters. According to Trackforce, the TrackTik guard app runs on iOS and Android, works offline when a garage or basement has no signal and syncs when it reconnects, and includes a panic button and two-way communication with the office. Guards are walked through each tour step by step, which is how a new guard delivers the same patrol as an experienced one on their first night.
Lone-worker protection matters on overnight posts. We use it: automated check-ins, a panic button, and geofence alerts. If a guard fails to check in, our supervisors are alerted and call the post.
With cameras and monitoring
How this fits with cameras and monitoring
Electronic reporting covers what a person saw and did. Verkada cameras and our monitoring centre cover what the cameras saw. On sites with both, the guard's incident report and the camera clip can be linked in one record, while Verkada keeps its own incident management system so nothing gets lost.
Security and compliance
Your data, kept properly
Your reports contain names, licence plates, and photos of your property, so where the platform stores them matters. According to Trackforce, TrackTik is SOC 2 Type II audited, ISO 27001 and 27017 certified, runs on multi-region AWS infrastructure with daily backups, and carries a 99.99% uptime SLA. Access to your site's records is limited to your named contacts and to KingsGuard staff who need it, and it is handled under the same privacy policy as our camera systems.
